Spartans Set For Dual Clash With Nova Southeastern in SSC Basketball Tournament Opening Round

TAMPA, Fla. - The University of Tampa men's and women's basketball teams will both face Nova Southeastern in the quarterfinals of the 2007 Sunshine State Conference tournament, which is being played in Boca Raton on the campus of Lynn University.

The Spartan women earned the three-seed and are looking to win their second consecutive tournament title after defeating Rollins last season. The UT men are aiming to win their first tourney title since 2002, as the fifth seed in this years event.

The women's matchup between Tampa and Nova Southeastern will be played at 12 noon on Thursday, with the men squaring off on Friday at 12 noon as well.
