Bio

David Green began working as an Assistant Athletic Trainer at UT in the summer of 2015. He is responsible for Men’s Soccer and Men's and Women's Swimming.

Green previously served as the Associate Athletic Trainer at Flagler College, where he served as the Athletic Trainer for Men's Soccer, Baseball and Men's and Women's Golf.

Prior to Flagler College, Green spent two years as an Athletic Trainer Intern at the University of Florida. He was responsible for covering Baseball from 2012-13 and Men’s Tennis in 2011-12.

Prior to his time at Florida, he spent two years as a Graduate Assistant at the University of South Carolina. Green served as the Athletic Trainer for the Men’s and Women’s Track & Field teams in 2010-11 and Men’s Tennis in 2009-10.

Green earned his Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Athletic Training from Southeast Missouri State University in Cape Girardeau, MO in 2008. He earned his Master’s of Science Degree in Physical Education with an emphasis in Athletic Training from the University of South Carolina in 2011.

He is Board Certified (2009) and is an active member of the National Athletic Trainers’ Association. He also holds an American Red Cross BLS for Healthcare Providers and Module 1-Basic Training in Graston Technique.

David and his wife Crystal reside in South Tampa with their cats Cinna and Negan.
