McKenzie Moore is in her first year as an intern in the University of Tampa sports medicine department.

As a student trainer at UT from 2011-15, Moore assisted certified athletic trainers with daily responsibilities. Her duties included providing prevention and care of injuries to all varsity and junior varsity sports, conducting assessment and evaluations of injured athletes, attending games and practices, help build therapeutic intervention plans of injured athletes, mentoring underclassmen within the program, maintaining a clean and productive environment within the clinic and assisting with administrative duties such as injury documentation and medical records management.

She has also held athletic training positions at Clearwater High School, National Taiwanese Academy of Sports and the East/West Shrine Bowl.

Moore graduated from Tampa with a degree in athletic training. She is also a BOC Certified Athletic Trainer and Florida Licensed Athletic Trainer and member of NATA. She also has certified experience as an IMG Women’s Basketball Athletic Trainer, Lacrosse Nationals Assistant Athletic Trainer, IMG Cup Assistant Athletic Trainer and Countryside High School Athletic Trainer.
