Bio

Michael O’Halloran is in his first year at his alma mater where he serves as the Digital Video Manager. The 2018 University of Tampa graduate previously served as an Athletic Communications Assistant during all four years as a student at UT. 

Hired for his work with video, O’Halloran has created several highlight reels, recap shows, trip-in-review videos, and other original content for publication on the official Tampa Spartans YouTube channel and Vimeo account. Michael has also helped with the production and publication of Tampa Spartans athletic broadcasts through the SSC Digital Network. O'Halloran's main goal is to create new original digital content for publication on the Tampa Spartans Official Social Media Accounts, as well as produce top-notch Athletic Broadcasts for Spartans fans and the SSC Network.

Along with his work for the Spartans, O’Halloran works for the Tampa Bay Lightning serving as a video production assistant. His duties with the Lightning include the filming of team features, production of in-game content, assiting in editing of game features, and the editing and producing of team pump-up videos. O’Halloran has been with the Lightning since the start of the 2016-17 season. 

The Seekonk, Mass., native has become a key player in revamping the Tampa Spartans social media accounts from a video content standpoint. O’Halloran aims to continue to take his video production skills to the next level and in doing so, continue to grow the UT Athletics Video Department. His most recent work includes the production of a weekly recap show, athletics intro videos, and various gameday hype videos, all published on the Spartans social media platforms.

He currently resides in Tampa during the school year and spends his Summer at home in Seekonk, Mass, along with his parents Chris and Colleen and three sisters, Caitlin, Molly, and Erin.
