Visitor's Guide

An Olympic-size swimming pool, tennis courts, a newly resurfaced track, outdoor basketball and volleyball courts, crew training facility and a modern fitness facility, the McNiff Fitness Center, are used by students, faculty, and staff. In addition, there is a weight room in the sports center for use by student-athletes.

Athletic facilities at the University are among the best in the nation for a school of its size. The Bob Martinez Athletics Center, a 3,432-seat area plays host to varsity volleyball, men?s and women?s basketball, intramural and recreational activities and other events throughout the year. Pepin Stadium is considered the finest soccer venue in NCAA II and has been the site of two national championship finals in the 1990s, including a Div. II national championship record crowd of 4,336 in 1994. Pepin Stadium was also the site of the 2001 men's soccer national championship. The new, lighted University of Tampa Baseball Field is home to the four-time national champion Spartan baseball team while the softball team plays on its own lighted field, built in 1990.

When visiting UT, please remember pets are NOT allowed at sporting events and will be strictly enforced. We will welcome service animals as defined by federal law. "Service Animals" are defined as dogs that are individually trained to do work or perform tasks for people with disabilities. Please be prepared to identify your dog as a Service Animal and the task your dog has been trained to perform. In addition, please note for the safety of all guests, you may be asked to remove a Service Animal who is unruly/out of control (or take action to bring the dog under control) or not housebroken. The University of Tampa is not required to provide care or food for a service animal, so please plan accordingly.
