Bio

Chris Catanach has led the Spartans to become one of the elite programs in the country with 22 Sunshine State Conference titles, 28 NCAA appearances, 15 trips to the Elite Eight, four national runner-up finishes and the 2006 NCAA II national championship. The 2010 South Region Coach of the Year has earned the honors 14 times while coaching a record 49 All-Americans with at least one selection in 17 straight seasons. In 2006, he made history while guiding his Spartan squad to a 35-1 season and capturing the program’s first NCAA II national championship with a 3-1 victory over North Alabama in the title game. He was also named National Coach of the Year as four of his players were named All-American.
