Bio

He was an outfielder on the first UT baseball teams. In the 1940-41 season, his team won the state championship. Was the team’s leading homerun hitter in the 1941 season. His career batting average was .334. Comparato also lettered three years in football. After his playing days, he served 33 years as a school administrator in Polk County.
