Bio

UT’s football coach from 1968-70, who had the highest winning percentage of .806 for a 25-6 record. He was named the Florida Sports Writers Coach of the Year in 1968, following a 7-3 record. Led Tampa to a number three ranking in small college poll in 1926. In 1970 he led his team to a 10-1 ranking which led to a number one ranking in the small college poll. 16 players he recruited went on to play in the professional ranks and he coach six All-Americans.
