Bio
Alex Edlin was a member of the 1972 Tampa Spartans football team. It was the Spartans' 36th season and competed as a College Division Independent. They finished with a record of ten wins and two losses (10–2) and with a victory in the Tangerine Bowl over Kent State. Edlin finished the season with 19 receptions for 302 yards while averaging 15.9 yards a catch for three touchdowns.
