Bio
Played quarterback for the Spartans from 1952-55, and led his team to a 31-11 mark. After his playing days were over, he went on to coach high school football in Hillsborough County. He made his biggest mark at Jesuit High School. He led Jesuit to a 132-78-2 record in 20 seasons, including a 39-25 win over Lakeland Kathleen in the Class A football championship. He also was the head coach of Leonard George, who became the first African-American player to sign a football scholarship at the University of Florida.
