Beach Volleyball Announces Tryout Information
TAMPA, Fla. - The University of Tampa beach volleyball team will host an open tryout for current full-time Spring 2017 students on Tuesday, April 18 at 3:30 p.m.
This will be the only tryout date offered for UT students in the Spring semesters. The tryout will be held at the sand volleyball courts at the Fitness and Recreation Center.
All students need to have a copy of their UT Spartan Card and they MUST have a copy of a physical dated within 6 months of the tryout date. (Physical must be in the time frame of October 18, 2016 to April 18, 2017; if it is not in this time frame, you will not be permitted to tryout due to NCAA rules).
Students will also need to sign a sickle cell waiver and assumption of risk form.
Without a copy of physical taken within 6 months of the tryout and completed sickle cell waiver assumption of risk forms, you cannot participate in the tryout.
Players need to wear proper tryout attire and arrive at the courts by 3 p.m., to sign paperwork. As a reminder, this is the only tryout date for the Spring 2017 semester and is for currently enrolled full-time UT students only.
If you have class scheduled for this time, you need to attend your regularly scheduled class. If any student planning to tryout has a video, please send to head coach Jeff Lamm. Any questions, feel free to email coach Lamm at jlamm@ut.edu.
