UT Athletic Family Grieves Loss Of Joe Urso’s Mother

TAMPA, Fla. - The University of Tampa athletic department is mourning the tragic death of head baseball coach Joe Urso's mother following a traffic accident on Tuesday afternoon.

Mrs. Urso was a permanent fixture at home baseball games and a part of the UT family since Joe Urso attended the University from 1989-92.

Her grandson, Brad Roberts, also attended UT and played for the Spartans in 2010-11.

She is loved by the entire University family and will be missed dearly. Her presence at games will be greatly missed.
