As a Sophomore: Appeared on the mound once for the Spartans when he pitched for four innings against Seton Hill (3/13)...He recorded six strikeouts and allowed only one walk and three hits.
Previous School: Attended Northern Kentucky University for two years, redshirting one, prior to transferring to UT.
High School: Graduated from The Kings Academy, where he pitched and played third base and DH for coach Doug McGaw...Was a two-year letterwinner and a team captain...Helped team to district championship...Also played summer league baseball for the Pacers.
