TAMPA, Fla. - The No. 2 University of Tampa Spartans defeated the Seton Hill Griffins 11-2 during their midweek matchup.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Danny Sirven began the scoring for the Spartans with a three-run Home Run into to the left field corner. | 3-0 Tampa
- Stevie Mangrum hit a solo Home Run in the bottom of the second. | 4-0 Tampa
- Seton Hill scored a run courtesy of a triple followed by a sacrifice fly. | 4-1 Tampa
- The Spartans scored four runs in the bottom of the fourth off of two doubles via Yorvis Torrealba and Alec Aleywine. | 8-1 Tampa
- Torrealba hit a bases-clearing double in the bottom of the fifth to increase the Spartan lead to double digits. | 11-1 Tampa
- The Griffins scored a run in the top of the eighth on an RBI single. | 11-2
INSIDE THE STATS:
- Sirven hit his first Home Run of the season, recording three RBI's for the Spartans.
- Mangrum slammed his fourth Home Run on the season while scoring three runs for the Spartans.
- Torrealba was 2/4 on the day, hitting two 2B's, tallying five RBI's and one run on the day.
- Bo Weiss earned his first Win as a Spartan, pitching four innings of one run ball while striking out three.
