Spartans Season Comes to an End After Falling to Tars

TAMPA, Fla. – Tampa's season comes to an end after falling to Rollins in NCAA South Super Regional Series.

HOW IT HAPPENED:

• Tampa would get the first two hitters aboard with no outs and threaten Rollins but would fail to convert after leaving runners stranded on the corners. Top 1 | 0-0 Tie

• The Tars would load the bases but the Spartans would get out of the jam after a Haden Erbe strikeout. Bottom 1 | 0-0 Tie

• After a double to center field three Rollins runners would come in to score and they would add another run later in the inning to increase the lead. Bottom 2 | 4-0 Rollins

• Tampa would get one run back after a Dan Sullivan RBI single to right center scoring Jordan Lala from second. Top 3 | 4-1 Rollins
