HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The Spartans and the Panthers remained scoreless through four innings, with a few Spartan runners left on third base close to taking the lead.| 0-0 Tie
- Alex Canney came into the game in the 5th inning, relieving freshman pitcher Ashton Pocol.
- In the bottom of the sixth inning, the Spartans opened the scoring with E.J. Cumbo running home. | 1-0 Spartans
