Spartans Place Seven on D2CCA All-South Region Team

LAKELAND, Fla. – The University of Tampa placed seven on the D2CCA All-South Region team, including five first teams.

Named to the first team were Drew Ehrhard, J.D. Urso, Jordan Lala and E.J. Cumbo. Second-team honorees were Drew Ehrhard as a utility player and Dalton Ross.

The 2023 D2CCA Baseball All-South Region teams were named South Region Player and Pitcher of the Year, respectively, as selected by the region's sports information directors.

All 16 first-team All-Region selections will now be placed on the national ballot for All-America consideration. The All-America teams are scheduled to be released on Thursday, June 1. The complete D2CCA All-South Region teams can be found on the following page.

The Division II Conference Commissioners Association encourages and promotes Division II athletics and high standards of sportsmanship as important elements of higher education. The CCA is a key communications link among the conferences as they discuss views, policies, and regulations that impact Division II intercollegiate athletics and work closely with the NCAA as a communications channel to NCAA Division II member colleges and universities.
