HOW IT HAPPENED:

• After a leadoff single from E.J. Cumbo and Stephen Klein getting plunked by a pitch later in the inning, Brayden Woodburn hit a comebacker to the pitcher, who then bobbled the ground ball and, after finally getting a grip on the ball; he threw it passed the first baseman to bring home Cumbo. J.P. Gates then followed with a double to the left-field corner to bring home Klein and Woodburn. Santiago Garavito followed with a single through the right side of the infield to bring home Gates. End 1 | 4-0 Tampa
• After T.J. Palma was hit by a pitch and Cumbo walked, Mike Valdez had a pinch hit opportunity and delivered, driving a double to left center to bring home Cumbo and Palma. Anthony Nunez and Woodburn would receive back-to-back walks. Gates would drive in Valdez with a groundout. Garavito would follow, driving in Nunez. Nico Saladino would follow, driving in Gates and Woodburn with a single, and then Cumbo, later in the inning, would hit a 2-run single. End 4 | 12-1 Tampa
• Macallister Jorgensen would hit his first career home run. Nunez scored on a passed ball. Palma would hit a 2-run single. End 5 | 16-1 Tampa
