Men's Golf Concludes Three-Round Event at Innisbrook
Robert Montagnino turned in solid second and third rounds to lead UT.
INNISBROOK, Fla. – The University of Tampa men's golf team played to a 14th-place showing at the USCB Innisbrook Invitational.

TOP SPARTAN PERFORMERS:
• Robert Montagnino | 19th overall, 228
• Jacques Celestino| 28th overall, 231
• Nate Kosarich | 71st overall, 245
• Nick DiMarco | 76th overall, 247
OTHER NOTABLES:
• Sophomore R. Montagnino was UT's top golfer for the first time in his career.
• R. Montagnino also registered Tampa's top round with a 74 in Tuesday's round.
• In his first collegiate appearance, Kosarich matched R. Montagnino with a team-best 75 in the second round.
• Also competing for Tampa were Myles Wharram and Patrick Montagnino as neither completed all three rounds.
• Oklahoma City's Rupert Kaminski was the top individual golfer with a 214, winning medalist honors by one stroke.
• A total of 18 teams registered in the event.
• Palm Beach Atlantic was the only other Sunshine State Conference school competing in the tournament. The Sailfish finished eighth with a team score of 932.
UP NEXT:
Tampa is back in action at the Webber Invitational on October 14-15. The tournament will be played at River Greens Golf Course in Sebring, Fla.
