Tampa Places Ninth at Innisbrook

PALM HARBOR, Fla. – The University of Tampa men's golf team moved up two spots in the final round to finish ninth overall at the USCB Innisbrook Invitational.

OTHER NOTABLES:
- Playing in his first tournament as a Spartan, Hogan Bendert matched Celestino as the top Spartan with a 227.
- Bendert, a junior transfer, also carded the best round for a UT golfer with a 72 in the second round on Monday.
- Other individuals for head coach Rick Christie included Steve Cacchio (56th, 237), Patrick Montagnino (56th, 237) and Nick DiMarco (66th, 243).
- A total of 13 teams competed.
- Northwestern Ohio's Tom Froom was the top individual golfer with a three-round score of 213 (E).
- Tampa was the lone school from the Sunshine State Conference.
