Tampa Travels to Lynn for Conference Clash

BOCA RATON, Fla. - The No. 1-ranked University of Tampa men's lacrosse team puts its perfect record on the line this Saturday as they head to Boca Raton for a Sunshine State Conference matchup against Lynn.

Series History: The Spartans hold a dominant 12-1 all-time record over the Lynn Fighting Knights, with their only loss in the series dating back to 2019. Tampa has thoroughly controlled recent matchups, winning the last four meetings by an average margin of nearly 12 goals. In last season's matchup, the Spartans posted a 20-4 victory, marking the largest goal differential in the series' 11-year history.

About the Spartans: The top-ranked Spartans remain undefeated following their third consecutive conference victory and sixth win this season over a nationally ranked opponent. Most recently, Tampa dispatched No. 13 Saint Leo behind strong offensive performances from Grant Green, who tied his career high, and Rafe Bradshaw, who set a new career high as a Spartan with three goals apiece. About the Fighting Knights: After opening the year with a 5-1 record, Lynn has split its last four contests. The Knights dropped road games to ranked foes No. 10 Flagler and No. 13 Saint Leo but rebounded with back-to-back home conference wins over Rollins and No. 15 Embry-Riddle.
