Bio

George Massabni is in his third season as a member of the University of Tampa men’s lacrosse coaching staff where he is the Assistant Coach of the JV team.

While coaching, Massabni is receiving his Master of Science degree in Criminology and Criminal Justice. He will have his master’s program completed at the end of the 2019 Spring semester.

Native of Rumson, New Jersey, Massabni attended Rumson-Fair Haven Regional High School. He played attack and was the leading scorer on the freshman lacrosse team and continued to be a beneficial asset to the Bulldogs for his next three seasons.

In 2012, Massabni committed to Division II Belmont Abbey College in North Carolina as a junior in high school. While attending Belmont Abbey College, he played for a season and a half until he transferred to Brookdale Community College in New Jersey. After two semesters there, he transferred to the University of Tampa where he continued and finished his lacrosse career as a player.
