Bio

Tyler Perrelle is in his second season as an assistant coach at the University of Tampa. Previously, Perrelle coached for four seasons as Head Men's Lacrosse Coach at Marywood University. He also served as Marywood's Coordinator of Field Operations.  

Perrelle led Marywood to a Colonial States Athletics Conference runner-up finish in two of his four seasons. He took the Pacers to an ECAC semifinal appearance in 2015.

In 2017 and 2018, Perrelle's team received the CSAC Team Academic Award for highest GPA in the conference.

Perrelle is ranked in conference history for highest winning percentage in CSAC play. The Pacers have won 71.4 percent of conference games during his tenure.
 
Perrelle served as Assistant Coach with the Pacers' 2014 CSAC runner-up squad. He came to Marywood after finishing an outstanding four-year career at Division I Binghamton University.

Awarded a full athletic scholarship at Binghamton University for all four years, Perrelle served as team captain and was selected to the Division I USILA/Laxworld North-South All-Star game in 2013 while being named to the pre-season Tewaaraton watch list. The “Spirit of Tewaaraton” award is presented to an individual involved in the sport of lacrosse, who nobly reflects the finest virtues exemplified in the game, and who, over the course of his or her life, has made a significant contribution to society and to the lives of others.

A graduate of Mahopac High School in New York, Perrelle was an All-Section Lacrosse, Ice Hockey and Football star.  In addition to being captain of all three sports, he was named an All-American Lacrosse player in 2009 before heading to Binghamton.

While with the Bearcats, Perrelle appeared in 56 games, tying him for the fourth most appearances in program history.  He ranks first all-time at Binghamton with 55 career assists and ranks second all-time with 110 career points.  A midfielder, Perrelle netted 55 goals, ranking him sixth all-time.  He was named the 2012 team MVP and earned America East Conference honors as an All-Rookie selection in 2010 and as an All-Tournament team member in 2011.

Perrelle received his master's degree in Higher Education Administration from Marywood University in 2018.
