TAMPA, Fla. – The University of Tampa Spartan's men's soccer team earned its fourth win in a row against Barry with a 3-1 win at Pepin Stadium.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
FIRST HALF: Juancho Fernandez scored his second goal of the season in the 6th minute to kickstart the Spartan offense, assisted by Omar Thali, who picked up his team-leading 11th point. Just 11 minutes later, Thali buried a shot to give the Spartans a 2-0 lead, earning his 13th point of the season. Amgad Salah scored, unassisted, in the 36th minute and gave Tampa a comfortable 3-1 lead that they wouldn't relinquish. The Spartans outshot the Bucs 9-3 in the first half. Score: 3-0 Tampa
SECOND HALF: Barry finally got on the board in the 57th minute. Final: 3-1 Tampa
INSIDE THE STATS:
- Fernandez has scored in back-to-back matches.
- Thali's three-point performance makes him the leading scorer in the Sunshine State Conference. (5G, 3A). He is the leader in both categories.
- Adam Forster earned his third win of the season and has given up just four goals this season.
- UT narrowly outshot the Bucs, 13-12.
- UT led in corner kicks, 5-3.
