TAMPA, Fla. – The University of Tampa men's soccer team will host the Barry University Buccaneers for the Sunshine State Conference Semifinals. 

The Matchup: Tampa Spartans (12-3, 9-1 SSC) vs. Barry Buccaneers (7-9-1, 5-5-0 SSC)  

Date/Time: Thursday, November 11 at 7 p.m. 

Location: Pepin Stadium || Tampa, Fla. || 417 North Boulevard, Tampa, Fla. 33606  

About the Spartans: The Spartans received a first-round bye for the SSC Tournament after winning the SSC regular-season title. Omar Thali continues to lead the Spartans offensively with 26 points (10G, 6A), with Juancho Fernandez just behind him with 18 points (7G,4A). Adam Forster is heading into tomorrow's match with 39 saves, a .796 save percentage, and nine shutouts.  

About the Buccaneers: The Buccaneers are coming off a 2-1 quarterfinal win over Lynn on Monday, both goals being scored by Jordi Ramon, bringing his season total to three. Leading the Buccaneer offense is Juan Caffaro, with 24 points (9G,6A). In goal for the Buccaneers is Nils Buecheler, heading into tomorrow's matchup with 41 saves, a .719 save percentage, and two shutouts.  

All-Time Series: Spartans lead the series 25-14-3, Spartans defeating the Buccaneers 3-1 in the last meeting in September. 

Tickets: General Admission ticket prices for all Tampa regular season athletic events are $5. Youth (ages 12 and under) are admitted free of charge. Students and faculty/staff are admitted free with a valid UT ID.
