Spartans Are Set to Welcome Non-Conference Foe on Friday Night

TAMPA, Fla. - The University of Tampa men's soccer team will welcome #16 Clayton State to Pepin Stadium for a Friday night showdown.

Time/Location: 8:00 p.m. at Pepin Stadium || Tampa, Fla. 

About the Spartans: The Spartans are coming off a 1-1 tie with non-conference opponent Auburn-Montgomery. Tampa has recorded 20 shots on goal, with 10 shots per game. Junior midfielder Theo Maye has netted both goals for the Spartans so far this season. Tampa is looking to get into the win column against the Lakers on Friday night.

Clayton State Lakers

The Lakers are coming off their second win of the season against Montevallo on Saturday. Clayton State has an overall record of 2-0-0, recording 36 shots on goal. Each of the Lakers seven goals this season have been scored by different players. Clayton State is looking to remain undefeated in their first road matchup of the season.
