HOW IT HAPPENED:

FIRST HALF: The game began with even possession time by both teams. The Saints recorded a shot on goal in the 10^th minute, with goalkeeper Salvador Ribera making a great save. Captain Nico Gamio recorded a beautiful shot in the 16^th minute that went just above the crossbar. The teams continued to trade chances back and forth, with no luck as they headed into the half tied at zero.

Score: 0-0 Tie

SECOND HALF: The second half opened with an intensity from both teams, as they each wanted to be the one to score first. The Spartans had an amazing chance off a Marcello Valbuena shot in the 70^th minute, but the Saints defense kept the ball out of the net. The teams continued to battle, with the match ending tied at zero.
