HOW IT HAPPENED:
FIRST HALF: The game began with each team taking it slow, focusing on keeping possession and setting up chances. Captain Nico Gamio recorded the first shot for the Spartans in the 19th minute. The conference foes continued to battle it out in the first 45 minutes, headed into halftime knotted at zero.
Score: 0-0 Tie
SECOND HALF: The second half opened with each team eager to be the first to score. The Spartans and the Sailfish continued to play well defensively, denying the other scoring opportunities. In the 89th minute, the Sailfish netted the lone goal of the matchup off a penalty kick.
Final: 1-0 Palm Beach Atlantic
