Spartan Swimmers Eye Title at Delta State Invitational

CLEVELAND, Miss., - The University of Tampa women's swimming team is within striking distance of Missouri State University heading into the final day of the Delta State Invitational. The Tampa women, ranked 10 th in the nation, have a total of 601.5 points as Missouri State leads with 628. Host Delta State is third at 534.5. UT's men are also in second place (519) and trail MSU (632).
Jessie Bardin made the national cut in the 200 Free while also breaking the pool record with a time of 1:51.53 in the event. Joining Bardin with a first-place finish was teammate Jennifer Jenkins, who won the 400 IM with a time of 4:36.20.
