Tampa Midway Through NCAA Championships
CANTON, Ohio - The University of Tampa men's and women's swimming team concluded the second day of competition at the 2010 NCAA Division II Swimming Championships, which are being held at the C.T. Branin Natatorium in Canton.
A day after medaling in the 1,000 Free, Chris O'Linger swam to a seventh place performance in the 400 IM. He finished the event with a time of 4:01.23.
Emilee Margiotta also finished seventh in the women's 100 Fly for the Spartans, registering a time of 56.75. Jessie Bardin was sixth in the 200 Free after a 1:51.98 showing.
The Spartans will return to the pool on Friday as there will be 11 preliminary and finals events on the slate.
