UT Concludes Weekend Meet with Saint Leo

TAMPA, Fla. - The University of Tampa swimming teams faced off against Saint Leo University, with the No. 10 men falling 157-105 as the No. 15 women tied the Lions at 131-131.
UT's women started the meet with a first-place effort in the 200 Medley Relay. The team of Catherine Bayes, Elizabeth Penrod, Emily Grams and Marisa Barton were clocked at 1:49.81.
Tampa also had a pair of first-place finished by Erin Plachy (50 Free, 24.37) and Allison Chandler (200 Back, 2:11.01).
In the men's 400 Free Relay, UT's team of Martin Hammer, Khalid Aldaboos, Jordan Augier and Jeremy Parker finished ahead of all competition with a mark of 3:04.90.
The Spartans will host a pair of meets next week, including Florida Tech on Friday at 4 p.m., and Nova Southeastern on Saturday at 11 a.m. Fans may watch live at TampaSpartans.tv.
