Brian Daugherty, Parker Knollman Garner All-SSC Honors
MELBOURNE, Fla. - Eighteen student-athletes have been selected to the 2021-22 All-SSC Men's Swimming Team, which includes a pair of University of Tampa student-athletes in Brian Daugherty and Parker Knollman. Voting for the team was conducted among the Sunshine State Conference men's swimming coaches.
Florida Southern College, the 2022 SSC men's champion, is represented by six honorees, including four First Team award winners. Florida Tech, Lynn University, Nova Southeastern University, Rollins College, and the University of Tampa are also represented in the league awards this year.

Brandon Dyck of Florida Southern highlights the 2021-22 All-SSC selections by becoming the sixth men's swimmer in league history to earn four All-SSC honors1. Dyck returns to the First Team in 2021-22 after previously being named the top squad in 2018-19. He was named Second Team in 2018-19 and 2017-18. Dyck joins former FSC Swimmers Luis Rojas (2011-15) and Matthew Holmes (2015-19) in accomplishing the feat.
Also repeating as All-SSC during their career is Spencer Hohm of Nova Southeastern and Mohamed Masmoudi of Lynn. Hohm earns Second Team honors this year after First Team accolades in 2019-20 and Honorable Mention recognition in 2018-19. Masmoudi earns another Second Team award after being named Second Team member and Freshman of the Year 2019-20.
NSU's Luca Alessandrini, a First Team award winner this season, was recently named the top male athlete at the 2022 SSC Championship. He is the fourth Shark to win the conference's Swimmer of the Meet honor, first since 2016-17.
Coach of the Year, Swimmer of the Year, and Freshman of the Year will be voted on by league coaches following the NCAA Division II championship. March 9th - Saturday, March 12th at the Greensboro Aquatic Center in Greensboro, North Carolina. The NCAA recently announced championship selections and seeding.
