INDIANAPOLIS - The University of Tampa men's and women's swimming teams concluded day two of the NCAA Division II Swimming Championships, with the Spartan men sitting in third place while the women are 13th.

Men's Standings

Spartan Highlights (Men)

  • The Spartans had two All-Americans in the Men's 1,00 Free, led by a third-place performance from Hayden Curley as he touched the blocks in 8:58.22. Freshman Barnabas Fluck placed seventh with a 9:07.83.
  • UT had a third-place finish and school record from Santiago Corredor in the Men's 200 IM as he achieved All-American status from the performance.
  • In the 50 Free, Tibor Tistan was timed at 19.78 for 10th place.
  • The Spartans finished the evening ninth in the Men's 200 Medley Relay. The school record time came from Santiago Corredor, Jared Mindek, Tibor Tistan and Santiago Aguilera, with a time of 1:27.23.

Spartan Highlights (Women)

  • In the Women's 200 IM, UT had a pair of honorable mention All-Americans. Sierra Gillan was 13th with a time of 2:02.92, while Madysen Barnes was 16th in a time of 2:05.92.
  • The Women's 50 Free had a sixth-place effort from Tilde Morin as she became an All-American in 22.94.
