Spartans Take Men's and Women's Races in Meeting of Nationally Ranked Teams

LAKELAND, Fla. - The University of Tampa men's and women's swimming teams both were victorious is a matchup of nationally-ranked Sunshine State Conference opponents on Friday at Florida Southern College.

Top Tampa Swimmers (Men's)

• 400 Yard Medley Relay: Tampa's B team (Parker Knollman, Richard Polasek, Kenan Dean, Gabriel Rzezwicki) finished first with 3:14.59.
• 1000 Yard Freestyle: Rafael Ponce De Leon won with a time of 9:24.51.​
• 200 Yard Freestyle: Jacob Hamlin took first place, finishing in 1:37.67​.
