George Alexander and Aaron Engelhardt Named All-Conference
MELBOURNE, Fla. – Fourteen student-athletes are named to SSC Men's Cross Country All-Conference Teams following the 2024 conference championship. After capturing its 19th league title, Florida Southern College nabs eight All-SSC honors, including Runner and Coach of the Year.
The University of Tampa totaled three honorees, led by first-teamers George Alexander and Aaron Engelhardt. Earning a spot on the second team was Ayden Estevez.
League coaches voted for Runner, Freshman, and Coach of the Year awards, while runners who finish Top-14 at the 2024 SSC Men's Cross Country Championship earn All-SSC status. Nova Southeastern hosted this year's championship at Holloway Park on October 25th.

On October 24th, conference coaches selected Christian Giller from Florida Southern as Runner of the Year and Ben Peck of Florida Tech as Freshman of the conference coaches. For more information on these awards, visit the following link.
Matt Levassiur is tabbed Coach of the Year by his peers after leading Florida Southern to a 19th SSC title. The Moccasins won the conference championship with a 33-point lead over the field after runners finished 1-2-5-8-11 to earn 27 points. Levassiur becomes the fourth FSC head coach to win the honor and the first since 2017.
Tampa's Aaron Engelhardt highlights the repeat All-SSC honorees following his third consecutive All-SSC honor. The senior repeats as First Team from 2023 and was named Second Team in 2022. Giller and teammate Christopher Colavita also repeat as First Team honorees from 2023. Tampa's George Alexander moves up to the First Team this year after Second Team laurels in 2022. Embry-Riddle's Nick Scarangelli graduates to First Team honors after being named Freshman of the Year in 2023.
