UT Shutout by PBA in Game One
The team has now lost four straight Friday games and will look to bounce back tomorrow
TAMPA, Fla. – The 16th ranked University of Tampa softball team was back on the field after a bye week as they hosted regional and provisional Sunshine State Conference opponent Palm Beach Atlantic for a three-game series, with the opener taking place on Friday night. The visitors took the game one victory 2-0.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
Top 5th: The Sailfish scored the only two runs on the night as their defense did the rest.
BEYOND THE BOXSCORE:
- This was the first time this season that the team was held without a hit in a game.
- Tampa will now look to continue their pattern of the last three weekends if they want to avoid dropping their first series of the season.
UP NEXT:
The team will be back on the field tomorrow as they wrap up the series against PBA with a doubleheader slated for a 1:00 p.m. start.
