Senior Elena de Alfredo would tally her first points on a jumper as well with two minutes left in the quarter. Heading into the second quarter the Mocs led with a score of 11-8. Sanders led all Spartans with four points.
2nd Quarter | Jeremie put up the first points of the quarter on a layup assisted by Lumb, decreasing the Mocs lead to only one point. The Mocs and the Spartans continued to go basket-for-basket heading into halftime as the Mocs only led by two, 27-25.
3rd Quarter | After halftime the Mocs hit the boards first on a jumper. Just as they did in the second quarter, the Mocs and the Spartans stayed close keeping each other within three points.
