Spartans Welcome Two Opponents for the Weekend
TAMPA, Fla. – The University of Tampa women's basketball team will host Nyack College and Anderson University.

About the Spartans: The University of Tampa women's basketball team is coming off of a loss to the Nova Southeastern Sharks on Satuday November 18th. Aliyah Abney recorded a career high 19 points against the Sharks as well as six rebounds and two steals. Karma Jeremie was the second leading point scorer with 14 points, six rebounds, and three assists. As a team, the Spartans are averaging 63.5 points per game, 36.3 rebounds per game, and have recorded a 43.2 shooting percentage.
About the Warriors: The Warriors are 0-4 on the season thus far as they travel to take on the Spartans. They are led offensively by Bryanna Brown who averages 15.8 points per game. Jocelin Wright leads the defense averaging 6.8 rebounds per game. As a team, the Warriors are averaging 49.5 points per game, 34 rebounds per game, and seven steals per game.
About the Trojans: The Trojans are 4-0 heading into their matchup with the Spartans. Ace Easter is the leading point scorer with 15.3. Madison Baggett and Alexis Dillard leads the defense with 8.5 rebounds per game. As a team, the Trojans average 85 points per game, 56.5 rebounds per game, and 18 assists per game.
