TAMPA, Fla. – The University of Tampa women's basketball team will host the Rollins College Tars Saturday, February 3rd. The women will take the court at 2 pm.  

The Matchup: University of Tampa (14-7, 7-7 SSC) vs. Rollins College (11-9, 6-8 SSC)

Date/Time: Saturday, February 3rd at 2 pm.

Last Time Out: The Spartans hosted the Saint Leo Lions and were victorious, winning with the score 56-35. Emily Eshoo led the offense with 20 points followed by Rachel Warden with 16.  Karma Jeremie and Staja Tyghter each had two steals to end the game. Jeremie also led the team on defense with eight rebounds, followed by Eshoo with seven.

About the Spartans: The Spartans are led offensively by Tyghter who is averaging 12.7 points per game. She is followed by junior Jeremie and sophomore Warden with 11.2 and 9.5. As a team, the Spartans are averaging 62 points per game while shooting 45.4 percent from the field. 

About the Tars: Julia Ingler leads Saint Leo with 266 points averaging 13.3 per game. She is followed by Denise Daniels who is averaging 10.5 points per game. As a team, the Tars are averaging 66.8 points per game, 39.1 rebounds per game, shooting 40.5 percent from the field and 70.3 from the free throw line. 

Series History: The Spartans trail the all-time series record with Saint Leo with a 44-55 record. 

Tickets: Tickets for are $5 for adults, senior citizens, and coaches. Children under 12 will be admitted free. UT students, faculty and staff will be admitted free with a valid student ID.
