Spartans Wrap Up First Spring Competition
LAKELAND, Fla. - In its first event of the spring, the University of Tampa women's golf team finished 17th overall at the Lady Moc Golf Classic, which was hosted by Florida Southern College at The Club at Eaglebrooke.
The Spartans shot respective rounds of 380, 378 and 379 to finish at 1,137 (+273). Seminole State won the title at 913, followed by Florida Southern (915), Nova Southeastern (922), Lynn (928) and Bradley (934).
Kendra Bishop paced the Spartans, finishing 71st overall with a 254. Bishop's top round was an opening 79. Also competing for UT were Stephanie Norman (276), Kelsey Kennedy (300), Allie Steffens (307) and Erin Knight (345).
