​SALISBURY, N.C. - The University of Tampa women's golf team showcased a first-place performance at the Patsy Rendleman Invitational, held on March 24-25, 2025, at the Country Club of Salisbury in Salisbury, North Carolina. The tournament featured a par-71 course, measuring 5,832 yards on Monday and 5,969 yards on Tuesday.

Team Performance

Tampa's golfers delivered strong individual performances, with four players finishing in the top five.​ The Spartans captured the second team medalist finish, taking the crown by 30 strokes.

Top Performers

  • Justine Bayle: Secured 1st place with a total score of 220 (+7). Her rounds were 68, 73, and 79.​

  • Kelly Shanahan: Finished 2nd with a total score of 222 (+9), posting rounds of 73, 74, and 75.​

  • Ella Mason: Claimed 4th place with a total score of 224 (+11), with rounds of 76, 71, and 77.​

  • Maria Mora: Tied for 5th place, scoring 226 (+13) with rounds of 75, 72, and 79.​

  • Ana Maria Jimenez Rios: Finished 12th with a total score of 230 (+17), recording rounds of 80, 75, and 75.​

  • Maxime Holletschek: Competed as an individual and tied for 14th place with a total score of 233 (+20), with rounds of 78, 79, and 76.​

  • Grace Ward: Also playing as an individual, tied for 14th place, scoring 233 (+20) with rounds of 79, 76, and 78.
