HOW IT HAPPENED:
FIRST HALF: It would be an even first half between the two teams, as Tampa would get the first opportunity of the game with a shot from Katherine Hostage, the Hilltoppers would press their attack on and capitalize in the 33rd minute to put the Spartans on edge. Tampa would respond back with a goal of their own from Sophie Shrader to bring the game back level. The Spartans would let their guard down however as time expired, as they now trail behind St. Edwards in the blink of an eye, before halftime. Score: 2-1 St. Edwards
SECOND HALF: Tampa would do all they could to get back level, as they would outshoot St. Edwards throughout the second half. Putting the pressure on the Hilltoppers to get back into the game. However, the Spartans could not make the most of their opportunities. As they would fall just short to St. Edwards. Score: 2-1 St. Edwards
