Tampa Stands Among National Leaders in Swimming Academic Performance

TAMPA, Fla. - Both the University of Tampa men's and women's swimming teams rank sixth among NCAA Division II institutions as the all-academic team has been released by the College Swim Coaches Association of America.
Four hundred and fifty seven teams, representing 318 different institutions were recognized for achieving team GPAs above a 3.50 for the semester.
Tampa is the top performer among Sunshine State Conference schools as its men stand at a 3.22 GPA while the women have a 3.50 standing.
