UT Swimming Set to Open Riseman Aquatics Center With Pair of Meets

Tampa Swimming Hosts Florida Southern and Rollins

TAMPA, Fla. - The University of Tampa men's and women's swimming teams will host a pair of Sunshine State Conference opponents in its first competition at the newly constructed Riseman Aquatics Center.

The 2022-23 home opener will feature the Spartans against Florida Southern College on Friday at 4 p.m. Tampa will return to the pool on Saturday at noon against Rollins College.

Coming off a first-place men's finish at the Shark Invitational, the Spartan women were second at the event. Head coach Jimi Kiner's squad enters the weekend as the nation's No. 5 team in the CSCAA men's poll as the Tampa women are No. 2. Florida Southern is tabbed No. 10 in both men's and women's. Rollins comes in at No. 25 in the men's poll while receiving votes in women's action.
