Spartans Earn Second Straight 9-0 Victory

AMERICUS, Ga. - The No. 15 University of Tampa (8-3) tennis team earned a 9-0 victory over Georgia Southwestern University (5-8) on Friday.

The Spartans won each of the doubles matches, with victories from the teams of Lauren Hewett and Meg Wladimirski, Kelsey Matthews and Lindsay Nochowicz and Chloe Pereira and Nikol Williams.

Wladimirski led the way from her number one singles spot as she was followed by Hewett, Nochowicz, Matthews, Pereira and Morgan and winners in their singles spots.

Tampa will play next on Monday at Fort Valley State University at 2 p.m.
