Spartans Take Neutral Site Meeting Over Minnesota State
Tampa took all three doubles events and five of six singles contests.
ORLANDO, Fla. – The University of Tampa tennis team won its third straight match with a victory over Minnesota State University Mankato on Thursday evening.

- Tampa took all three doubles events by decisive scores.
- Emily Hewland and Caroline Lozo won at number one by a score of 8-2.
- The number two team of Lilley Nice and Maddie Stephens blanked their opponent 8-0.
- UT's three team of Ava Sowell and Gianna Pinasco won 8-1.
- Lozo took the number-one contest 6-2, 6-4.
- At three, Nice won 6-4, 6-3.
- The number four contest was won by Stephens, who secured a 6-0, 6-4 victory.
- Sowell notched a straight set 6-0, 6-1 win at five.
- Pinasco took the number six event, winning 6-0, 6-3.
BEYOND THE BOXSCORE:
- Stephens is a perfect 10-0 in singles play this season. The sophomore is 7-0 at number-four and also won three matches at the UT invite to open the regular season.
- Nice is a perfect 7-0 in dual match singles play.
- The Spartans are a perfect 14-0 this season in the number four and five singles slots.
