No. 4 Fighting Knights Defeat UT in Home Contest
Spartans take pair of singles matches.
TAMPA, Fla. – The No. 24 University of Tampa tennis team finished its home slate with a 7-2 setback against No. 4 Lynn University on Sunday morning.

Records: Tampa (10-7, 4-5 SSC), Lynn (16-3, 8-1 SSC)

All-time Series: Lynn is a perfect 29-0 in the all-time series between the two teams.

- Lynn opened with all three doubles victories.
- The Fighting Knights claimed four of six singles events.
- UT won at number two and three singles.
- Lilley Nice earned a three-set victory over No. 36 Diana Bogolii by scores of 2-6, 6-4, 11-9.
- At number three, freshman Corbin Dorsey played to a 3-6, 6-2, 10-6 win.
BEYOND THE BOXSCORE:
- Number-one singles player Caroline Lozo missed her seventh straight match.
- This marks the sixth ranked opponent Tampa has played in 2018.
UP NEXT:
Tampa will face Rollins College on Thursday at 3 p.m. The match marks the final regular-season contest for UT.
