As a Senior: Ran distance for the Spartans in both the 3000M and the 5000M... Her top time of the season in the 3000M was at the Embry-Riddle First Chance-Last Chance (2/18) where she crossed the finish line with a time of 11:21.09... She ran her fastest 5000M at the 2017 UT Track Classic (3/3) with a time of 19:16.06.

As a Junior: Ran the 1500M, the 3000M and the 5000M for the Spartans... She logged her college best in the 5000M finishing fifth with a time of 18:07.74 at the UT Track Classic (3/4)... At the USF Bulls Invitational (3/17), she ran her fastest 1500M when she crossed the finish line at 4:54.49... Her fastest time of the season in the 3000M was at the USF Invitational (3/11) where she finished fifth with a time of 10:54.00.

As a Sophomore: Competed in the 3000M and the 5000M for the Spartans in the 2015 season... She recorded her college best in the 3000M at the Embry-Riddle Last Chance (2/20), where she finished fourth with a time of 10:50.99.

As a Freshman: Ran distance for the Spartans, and competed in the 3000M and the 5000M... At the UNF Spring Break Invitational (3/28) she ran 18:49.63 in the 5000M... In the 3000M she recorded a top time of 10:51.56 at the UF Tom Jones Memorial (4/19).

High School: Attended J.W. Mitchell High School, running for coaches Jeffery Leavey, Casi Chatman and Keith Paulk…Competed at 2012 3A state track and field championships…Established new school record in 4x800 track relay…Was also a competitive swimmer, where she was part of three record holding relay teams, including the 200 Medley, 200 Free and 400 Free.

Personal: Volunteered with Fill A Heart, YMCA, Trinity Hospital, New Port Richey Rap House, Seven Springs Middle School and Florida Cancer Institute…Member of honor roll…Full name is Elaina Marie Cancello…Daughter of Andrew and Jennifer Cancello… Has a twin sister, Claudia, and a younger sister, Katherine…Claudia is also a member of UT cross country team...Nursing major…Birthdate: 4/28/1994.
