WEEKEND PREVIEW: #5 Tampa Looks to Bounce Back at Home

#5 Tampa

• After falling to now ranked #25 Nova Southeastern University in five sets on Saturday, the Spartans slide to #5 in the AVCA Coaches' Poll. Kalli Cors leads the squad with 122 kills, a little shy of 40 more than the next on the team. Mackenzie Dufresne has 85 kills on the year and leads the Sunshine State Conference in hitting percentage with a .493. Claudia Rivera is third in the SSC with 178 total digs, and second in digs per set with 4.94.

Embry-Riddle

• The Spartans match on Friday is at 7 p.m. against the Eagles at the Bob Martinez Center. Embry-Riddle's last time out, lost to #18 Barry in three sets. The Eagles are 9-3 on the season and 3-1 in the conference.

Rollins

• On Saturday at 4 p.m., the Spartans are set to play Rollins College at the Bob Martinez Center. Rollins is heading into the weekend 3-9 on the season with a 1-3 SSC record. Their only win in the conference comes against Florida Tech, where they won in 5 sets.
