Bio

Jeff Lamm is in his 19th season as an assistant at UT. This is Lamm’s 24th year coaching volleyball at the high school, club, and collegiate levels. He has also served as the assistant director of Tampa Volleyball Camps since coming to the school.

During his time at UT, the Spartans have registered a 620-91 record with a .872 winning percentage. He has been a part of 15 Sunshine State Conference championship squads and 12 NCAA Elite Eight teams along with the 2006, 2014, and 2018 national championships.

In 2011, Lamm was honored by the American Volleyball Coaches Association of America (AVCA) as its National Assistant Coach of the Year.

Lamm helped guide the 2018 Spartans to a Sunshine State Conference Co-Championship, an NCAA South Regional Championship, and most importantly, an NCAA Division II National Championship, the program's third. The 2018 squad was a special one, starting the season unranked and battling their way into the national spotlight. Lamm worked alongside 2018 AVCA National Coach of the Year, Chris Catanach, and fellow assistant Brian Imperiale.

In 2017, Lamm was named the Heach Coach of the University of Tampa Beach Volleyball Team. He led the Spartans to a 14-10 record in the program's inaugural season. Tampa compiled a 20-10 record in 2019 and won the AVCA Small College Championship

He won his second national championship with the Spartans in 2014 with a 3-0 sweep over Southwest Minnesota State in the title match. UT was 34-1 on the season, which included a perfect 16-0 showing in the Sunshine State Conference. Additionally, Berkley Whaley was honored as the National Player of the Year as he coached alongside National Coach of the Year Chris Catanach.

Prior to the 2006 season, Lamm was promoted from assistant coach to associate head coach. As the top assistant, Lamm helped the Spartans to the program’s first NCAA II national championship.

Lamm has enjoyed success at every level, including his stint as first assistant for TEAM FLORIDA, a USA High Performance team that won the gold medal in 2004 at the High Performance Championships. In 2003, he was named the USAV Florida Region Coach of the Year for his work with the Tampa Bay Junior Volleyball Club, where he has served as head coach for the past four years.

Prior to his arrival at UT, Lamm spent one year as the top assistant at Rollins College, and also coached high school volleyball at Riverview (Sarasota), Cardinal Mooney, and Cypress Creek. He has also coached at several USA Developmental and High Performance camps.

Lamm has a degree from Valencia College. He is married and resides in Tampa with his wife Jess, sons Brady and Caden and daughter Charlotte.
